Senna's driving style was a great example of this. He would slide through the corner, barely regain any grip on the straight and slide right into the next corner. Right on the edge constantly.

If the car feels like it is on rails, you are probably driving too slow. -Ross Bentley

I think Clarkson mentioned it on Top Gear but if Prost's driving style was coldly dancing with the track then Senna's was basically a heated brawl with the surface.

Yeah I was watching clarkson's piece on top gear about senna a week ago that's why it was on my mind. Always find it interesting to look at the driving styles of the top tier drivers.

Yeaaa I'm going to say no. I would much rather people around me drive within their limits, especially when it isn't a race.

Yeah, same. I'd rather be safe than in an accident due to carelessness.

An interesting video to directly compare the two. The lap times are different, but you can still get a good look at the differences in driving styles. Look at their hands!

Man senna has to make so many inputs to keep the car on the road, the reaction times are insane. Cool vid, thanks!

Good gravy, he has to have him by 3 or 4 tenths.
